So went to nyc to see jamie cullum play tonight

I don't put artists on a pedistle and say things likeOH ILL NEVER BE THAT GOOD, and I tried to take his music anaylitically

And it was very inspiring, I guess he has 9 years on me, but it was just such smart music.

So, were leaving cali today. Been here for a week.

Yesterday we went on the price is right, after that they were taping a pilot ep of let's make a deal.

So since the host was right in front of me, I decided to take advantage of the situation and slip on my panda mask..haha it was greattt.

Now we just got done with in and out, and were gonna head hpme to eat and clean up.

I have cpk pear and gporgoinzola pizza waiting for me there... So excited!

Today at church Pastor Llyod spoke on Genesis 22. Isaac being a picture of Jesus.

mm, worked today. watched a bunch of eps of death note with anthony p. good stuff, he doesnt even watch anime but death note is good enough for anyone to get captivated in it.

after work jj came over and we went to quick chek, he got a sub and we ate ice cream and watched some d.gray man. i already finished the series but hes still on it.

john stopped by for a second, he doesnt like d.gray man.
so he left.

So i worked this morning till 3,
then went over to my house where, andrew, jason, dave d, john, and their girls were.

we headed over to mikes house. mikes dad dressed like a super funny clown.
and jj, jess, carrie, bill h, grace, chris r, and others eventually showed up.

mike wasnt surprised cuz yesterday in the mall, mikes mom tried calling me and i didnt know who the number was lol.

we had a lot of fun.

we attempted wiffle ball, but then started playing some serious rounds of GUESSTURES. nick was so funny, "Oh no, this is the only way i can explain it... (The word was pelvis) ::thrusts hands down at crotch::" or his WHIP gesture, or john's explication of the word wing. floating gracefully.

it was just a lot of fun overall tonight.

later we roasted marshmellows.
and nick had a Columbine Birthday 2008 Special, and suddenly went crazy spraying everyone with silly string hah.

good stuff. def.

i feel good.

especially because i updated for once.

You know.

I lost my blue band tonight that i got from the first show my band ever played.
I was replacing john's headlight and it must have came off.

i should have reinforced the tape.

It has been 1 year 2 months and 20 days.

That is all.

Went to colonial diner sunday w/ john and jj.
didnt buy anything.

just took a few fries that they didnt eat and drank some water.
got home.

felt kind of weird.

went to bed anyway. @ 12:30

woke up an hour later @ 1:30 w/ food poisoning.
stayed up the entire night.

the entire night was a blur. i cant even remember what happened besides feeling like i was dying and throwing up 13 times. with 102 fever

my stomach emptied itself out.
completely.

and somehow it became monday.

and then with nothing whatsoever in my stomach for a whole day, i had a tiny bit of rice and two crackers.

and now its tuesday.

my fevers gone, pukings gone, still got a headache. but i can move around somewhat.


and so i thought i would actually have some spare time these two days to get started on my chemistry research paper due thursday, or my demonstration speech due tomorrow...

but nope.

its been a wonderful two days.

Botconskater: i have a feeling shes actually a good teacher trying to get me to actually work hard to become a better speaker

This morning during work, I watched this red hyundai hit a white hyundai SUV. The red car was going about 60mph through a red light, slammed and locked the brakes but still hit the car at about 50mph. If you look up close you can see the red passenger door is actually stuck in the white SUV's front. crazy. they both walked out of their cars...well the girl in the red car wobbled a bit. If she didnt swerve left that guy def. woulda been killed. nutty.

new drivers. the girl looked young. prob. doin her makeup or txting. something stupid.

Lesson: being stupid is stupid. and kills you. stupidhead.

I'm def. gonna look back at this next year, and be like...

So much has happened this summer, and i haven't recorded it at all.

And yet, still wish for a happy ending.

We are such insatiable creatures, humans.
Robots programmed to cry out at the slightest notion of rejection.
We show off our gadgets, our wires, the reds, blues, greens.
Inviting, hoping, praying someone would pull them.
Thousands of robots standing in a line, waiting to be manipulated.
The one to be destroyed in front of the rest is envied.

At least they'll receive the attention they always wanted. They needed.
What a bright, brilliant, mind wasted.



(But I know if everyone jumped off a bridge you wouldn't do it too.)

I am now convinced that parents can be the greatest birthday gift.


today i went to the ducanes with john, watched some of dejavu.
got bubble tea.

it was pretty good. a lot of good christian themes and morals.

So Mikef, Mikec, Mike's cousin Allan, john, andrew, sean, scott, sarah toledo, and i went to go see the chariot play with misery signals, i am ghost and i hate sally.

i hate sally was beat.
they had a girl singer.

not like anythings wrong with that.

but she was a screamer.

idk. it was just a bad experience.

and then i am ghost was like MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE.

i dont know what was up with the lead singer.
he was just all EMO.
and had the worst hair ever.
and sang the same melody for every song.
and had a horrible scream.
it was just full of bad.

misery signals was good. lots of toughness.

chariot was amazing.
they played so short though...
the lead singer was rocking on an amp, and then it fell on him, and i think he got injured cuz he ran out.

and they stopped playing...

so that was it.

we went to bridgeway diner, and mike350z met up with us.
so it was fun.

So today we finally had band practice for the first time in 4 months.

it was a great time.

we actually didnt do bad for not playin in forever.

my mom made us good food.
sushi, chicken, ziti, cake.

oh man.

so it was the welcome back andrew / goodbye jason party.
